Hello,

I have pair of excellent condition Penta speakers which I purchased new in 1987 with entire 5500 system components.

Everything was in working order when I stored it for 8 years while I worked in India. The Penta speakers accumulated a lot of dust and dirt on the exterior while in storage even though it was inside conditioned storage.  How do I clean off the dust and dirt to assure that it does not get inside the slots in the bottom?

The components, remotes, cables, manuals were not dirty as they were all carefully packaged in a sealed box.

Moreover, I may consider selling the system if there is a request!

Thank you for your advise.

It matters how dirty they are but I use a mild detergent with a soft cloth then apply coconut oil onto the stainless steel surfaces to offer protection.

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
