Hi Beoguys,
Few weeks ago I collected my own Beovox 5000 (MKI) and finally I found some time to look on them and to test them. Not so bad condition but they need some attention...
Unfortunately I got them without original stands. So first of all I am looking for 2 x 4 pieces speaker stands for them. I know, it will be not that easy to find the original ones. Therefore I would be also grateful if somebody can provide the pictures or drawing with a measures so I could make them or let somebody make them for me.
Offers or pictures, please.
Many thanks!
Regards,
Theomaster

Try Ikea, they sell legs in different forms and length, (cut to fit)
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Hi Soren,
Thx for the advice. Yes, I had IKEA on my mind and it could be the solution at the end of the day. But still I will try to find originals if possible.
And the way the legs are mounted to the bottom of the speakers is for me unknown. The chartz posted yesterday a picture of the bottom and I think they are screwed somehow from inside the cabinet. I don't want to make new holes if not necessary. And is there any difference between MKI, MKII or MKIII regarding legs / feet?
Is there any drawing in the old B&O catalogs or original user manuals showing how the legs are mounted?
Any experience or tips?
Thanks in advance.

Apart from the pictures in the products section of Beoworld, the font of all that is probably known of 5000s is Frede in classic audio.
This is what you need to make an exact copy of those legs. A stainless steel tube...
Don't use that El Cheapo IKEA crap

Hi Leslie,
many thanks for those pictures! Yes, thats exactly what I need!
Are those original or did you make them by your self?
Do you have maybe the measures (length and diameter of the steel tube)?
Or even better question: would you sell me 2 Sets ?
Off course I can give you the dims (diameter/length) of the tube but not now since my Beovoxes are stored. Probably this weekend I can give you the details. The tubes are an exact copy of the original ones, same as for the black plastic feet that needs to be inserted. Not sure if I still have 8 pcs in stock but this is (I think) a part that can be sourced locally or maybe Ebay. The other end (M10 bold) has to be inserted from inside of the cabinet in order to mount the tube from the outside if you know what I mean. Have to look at my own Beovox how that works and if it's possible to do that. I can cut the tubes at the exact length as the original ones.
About 115mm length and 27mm diameter (outside). Diameter exactly the same as the stainless steel tube I have.. Made pictures of two type which needs to be refurbed.
