KMA:B&O has informed that Beoremote One will be available at the end of the year (Nov/Dec). At least in Finland ordering BR One is not yet possible.

Nope, the display does not mean it can be ordered. We have the display in the UK as well... but the can't be ordered yet.

Based on this topic, I harassed my dealer again about the remote. He make a telephone call to his supplier and I get the same information as by the end of june:
…Delivery of extra remote's is not yet possible, it will be in the coming months or maybe (hopefully) earlier.
Now I won't ask my dealer about it anymore, I wait my turn in this.

The official respons from B&O regarding the remote is as per Week 35/2014:
BeoRemote One:Vær venligst opmærksom på følgende: BeoRemote One kan kun bestilles sammen med en BeoVision Avant. Yderligere BeoRemote One fjernbetjeninger som skal benyttes sammen med andre produkter forventes at være tilgængelige for bestilling i løbet af efteråret 2014.
English: Please note the following: BeoRemote One can only be ordered with the BeoVision Avant. Additional BeoRemote One remote controls to be used with other products is expected to be available for ordering during the Fall of 2014.
The window display remote even comes with "Display model" engraved on the back of it - to prevent eBay sales, I assume :-)

Yes, you can certainly read it like that. On the other hand, the first "other" BOX that can take advantage (all other boxes can use it) is the BV11 through this summer's sw release that gave the user the option to select between the Beo4 and BeoRemote One.
Looks like B&O will be able to catch up with the demand for the Avant during September - which may lead to an earlier than expected release of the BeoRemote One?
Is there any news about mybuttons funktion on Beosystem 4/BV11/V1 ?

B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.

That was exactly the way my dealer ordered a remote for me. It went through, but by viewing his order status a couple of days later it was removed.
My local dealer is pretty "frustrated". He was basically forced to setup the shop window with the display for the One (very prominent) already a couple of months ago. Since then, plenty of people (obviously) entered the shop to buy one, just to be told they (me included) have to wait until the end of the year...

Hi, No not in Essen, the B-one is very sleek like an iphone in feel. It takes a while to get used to it i.e the central arrow buttons dont work in the TV/HDR menus you have to use forward and rewing buttons with the programme +&- buttons. You get used to this though, the My Buttons are excellent also the renaming of buttons is a great trick.

That will be because your TV does not support the newer Beo4 with Navi buttons...
As I said before, the Beoremote One needs some adjustment in the production process because it is razor sharp at the front.

I think it should be a matter of days now for your Fin. dealer to deliver you the new remote.
It's available at least in France and Germany right now !
Otherwise it would be a nice christmas present for you if your dealer can get it's hands on one untill then.
Yes, Ill have to update the TV to 30.08 so I have the Navi Remote choice in the menu system
I do not know if it is public knowledge already, but the manufacturer of the new remote is Ruwido.
They are big on remotes. Austrian firm. They also do e.g remotes for Mercedes S-class. They do al manufacture inhouse so no chinese factory.
I met them at the IBC event in Amsterdam today. Had several Avant in their booth. Very stylish.

The aluminium casing is made in Struer.
They have two robots working 24/7 to make those.
In short a new robot will be installed, which is needed to keep up with the demand for the housings.
From Struer they are transported to Austria (Ruwido) for assembling with the 'electronics'.
Finally the finished product is transported to Herning (DK) where all B&O finished products are stored....
ready for delievering to the costumer.
That is how things work nowadays.
In general the One will only be available with the Avant's - untill november (as Tue told me this wednesday).
The problem is that they can't/couldn't keep up with the production of the housings in Struer.
Are they going to radius the sharp corners soon though ?
it seems like they were computer modeled without a prove-out for tactility ?
I asked the guy, who showed us the robots, about this.
He had not heard of it before.

My norrman copenhagen Tablo-table has been scratched a lot even tough I am very careful about placing the remote. it is really sharp, like a sharp knife!
I understand that the problem is big for you.
Did you contact your dealer - and what did he do about it?
My question however was - how many users have a problem with this?
Would be nice to hear from other owners as well.
