I've just picked one of these up from work where it was going spare and I plan on setting it up at home with the BeoSystem 2 AV Processor. I was just wondering if anybody has any experience using this screen and if so, is it any good? I can't seem to find any reviews
It's going to be a bit of a hack plugging HDMI sources in, but I think I've figured a way with a HDMI hub going into a HDMI -> 5 component cable, then finally a component -> DVI adaptor into the DVI port of the BeoSystem, and the 2 remaining audio leads providing sound.
I've got a BeoLab 2 and a pair of BeoLab 6000s. Will this realistically make a good setup, or should I pass and stick with my more current (1080p) Sony panel and save myself a load of hassle?

i would replace the Sony for the B&O anyday! i saw a standard definition BV 4 and i was very impressed by it. I replaced my 720p samsung with an Avant

Find out which mk system 2 you have.
Look at the plasma version setup (in the service menu, and available with system 2 version software 15.2 or higher) if it's possible to setup DVI, VGA, Component modules into slot 1,2 or 3,
If so, then you can place a DVI or Componentmodule in one of it's slots of the panel and connect your HD source to it.
Your audio will be send through one of the accompying connectors you renamed to DTV-DVI, VAUX-DVI etc.
Keep in mind that the cheaper component module supports more formats, but isn't digital, DVI supports less formats but will give you a better picture quality. And the menu structure of the BS2 will not be visible as you re-route your video signal.
