Just wondering if any Beoworlders ever purchased a V1 Havana?
I can't get it out of my mind of how beautiful it would be if it was still available.

Hello Michael,
You mean the Beoplay V1. I bought one beginning this year (January 2014), but set it up with the vertical table stand of STB brackets. You can find a picture of it in my profile. Had an offer for this tv with a 40% reduction on the rrp ... couldn't refuse this of course!

Actually the picture with the BL 6000 is a black Vplay1 40" ... The picture with the Vplay1 32" Havana is the one with the small black tables and pile of magazines (my office/cigar room).
Recently however, I've linked my BL6000 to the Vplay1 Havana and linked my Vplay1 40" in my living room with new Beolab 18 (oak fronts)... However I don't think I will recloth the BL6000 ...
The colour difference between black and havana brown in dark light circumstances is very subtle ... The black is even a little bit brownish ...

No idea about overseas delivery! I would ring Nick at the store (+(0)151 236 3000) or message him (he's 'Opman' here on Beoworld).
The V1 Havana, and the 7-55 are the two B&O TVs that consistently bring a smile to my face when i see them.
Both for entirely different reasons
