Hi Beoworld,

I have an ML/MCL converter attached as a center speaker on my BV7-32 (MK III) with powerlink (4 wire I think, thin), and two CX50 speakers attached to the ML/MCL (both need new foam). I configured the speaker as being a "single Beolab 400". After two months the amplifier started making this familiar low buzz noise when it is switched on - regardless of the volume of the speakers of course. The amplifier made the same noise when I connected it to a different powerlink (in this case MCL2 AV), so thank got it is not the TV, but perhaps it was causing it?

I have replaced the ML/MCL converter with another one, and the noise was gone. My concern is that I have done something wrong in the connection or configuration, and that the new amp will be damaged within two months as well. Is that likely? I changed the configuration to a "double Beolab 400", for a start, but I am not sure what more I can do. Any suggestions on how to prevent this? And can I repair the other ML/MCL?

Thanks!
