Presume you mean the Tape Deck belt, in which case yes it's quite an easy job as long as you have the correct belt - there are two different types.  The BC9500 dismantling instructions are available in the service manual.

I ordered mine from Martin (Dillen) and he provided fitting instructions.

The entire top of the BC9500 pivots forward into a service position, so you do not have to remove it.  Makes sure that you remove the glass panels first in case they are loose and drop off.

The Tape mechanism is quite easy to remove if you take your time, the only tricky bit for me was taking care to disconnect the various connectors, and then careful reassembly to avoid bending the connector pins.

It should go up this high and then there is a metal support rod that holds it in position.  Check that nothing is restricting it at the hinge end - you may need to move it around a little.

Sounds like you are forgetting the three screws at the extreme lower front of the Beocenter.

My thoughts as well Martin but OP says back and front?

Depends what type of CD unit is installed but the CD lid normally must be in closed position before you open the lid.

Yeah. Could it be that he tries to lift at the front ?
The hinges are in the front so it would have to be lifted up at the rear.

And yes, the CD door needs to be closed.
