Beosound 5 Encore radio

Hi all,

I like to listen to my favorite Dutch internet radiostation '538', but it won't play anymore.

It is greyed out a few moments after I press the preset/favorite button.

On another webradio on the same network it is still working.

I reset to the factory settings but that doesn't help.

Also another radio station stopped working...

Fortunately there are enough other stations, but still...

Can I do something about it?

Hi,

I too have found that stations are no longer available or are deleted.

Sometimes it has been due to the broadcast quality of the station not being up to acceptable quality and other times the streaming link no longer being supported by the format used by B&O O. It could be as simple as the stream failing.

I have found that an email to BeoCare usually can fix or advise of what the problem is.

From memory they will usually want the station name, URL for the website, country and streaming address of the station.

I have also noticed that some of the Swedish radio stations have stopped working on my BeoSound 5.

Dunno what to do about it, but those that doesn't work are the one I usually listen to which means that the N.RADIO part is more or less useless nowadays.
Seems kind of sad since I really love the other parts of my BeoSound!

I get the message:

We're sorry, but there's a problem with your account. Your credentials are incorrect or your account has been disabled.

What account???

 

Call your dealer.give him the url of the radiostation that doesn't work.couple of weeks and everything works fine again!

Well I bought the BS5E in another country, I doubt if a local dealer would be willing to help me...

 

The B&O service is worlwide - why shouldn't he?

Do you have Beocare's email adress?

You can only contact BeoCare via the B&O website.

I have experienced that this service was down once in a while - try again if you don't succeed.

I have one BS5 Encore for test a few days.

As i can see that on these unit there are no radio LOGOS   like on  BS5+BM5 ?

Or i have something wrong connected ?

I have never seen a radio logo on my BS5E, only the station name.

No, there has never been any logo on my Encore too, and since there has never been any software Update (and since it’s a product from the past), there will never be any logo. 
Personally I like it, I find the radio stations logo usually quite ugly, it even shock me on some products where there are displayed in big size (beovision harmony)
