`why not ?
I mean, is your emphatic "no" meaning "no way, over rmy dead body, never in a million years"
or a more simple, "no that is not the reason for the delay"
BeoNut since '75
Sorry - it was a (very) short answer = the second simple one.
Recently - in Struer - I spoke to Michael Jensen (Product Manager), who made a demo of the WiSA technology in the newer B&O speakers.
I asked him exact that question.
He said that he did not know of any plans for using WiSA for multiroom.
We had a good discussion after the demo - and I suppose, that he was not 'hiding anything' from me.
BeoBoy68:Bad marketing from Beo if they don't integrat the new WISA platform.
Personally I think Martin has a good point there.
"WiSA compliant systems will deliver high resolution, uncompressed audio, up to 100 meters line of sight or 20 to 40 meters through walls."
20-40 meters is not much - and often B&O costumers have large homes.
New transmitters would be required (these are for AVR's or - in case of a BV - for the tv itself), and the amount of (wireless) speakers for the surround system would be limited to 5.1 as well

Modern wireless receiver solutions (Broadcom) often provide AirPlay, DLNA,Spotify Connect, Bluetooth as well.
And individual adressing of the receivers in a house has become more and more common.
A mere distribution from a single transmitter to an end-point does not seem to do the job anymore.
Must be a hard decision for a small company like B&O to choose the 'right solution'.
