Stand-by light BV7

Hi All . BV7 Mk3 , the bottom right red stand-by light over the last few days is now flashing in stand-by , goes out as normal when the set is turned on , Tv seams to function without a problem but has always been a steady red when off , must indicate something ?

Is the timer function on?

Try switching off at the mains and leave it a few minutes then reconnect it.  Does it still flash?

My BV7-55 hasn't got a stand-by light!

Hi Dave . I should have done that , same with the Sky box problems , try switching it off at the mains. Will do it when I get home and its a 40" .

Hi . That stopped it flashing , now a steady red when off . Presume an error code is in the service menue now but the set works normaly . Probably be getting the new Avant ( not to replace the 7 ) , have the problems been solved ?
