Sorry but I have to write in English, but I need hope from Europe:

Hi, everyone.

i'm now the proud owner of a Vintage Beomaster 1400.

althought it still works I found the usual problems, already described on this forum.

So I need a plastic wheel to the tuner knob, the one that connects to the weight. Mine was totally desintegrated.

Can anyone help me? I need to know to diameter of this wheel, or an alternative part number for something similar. I read that a piece of round rubber can do the trick (washer).

Also I read that to remove scale, I have to pry the bottom corners, but in a manual it seems like the opposite.

how is the scale fixed? What king of motion do I have to to?

Finally regarding recap, does anyone as list of the components I should replace?

i'm in Portugal so axial capacitors are hard to find.

In Europe what's the best online site to get it?

Shipping rates from Mouser are always high. Can you guys give me other alternatives ?

thanx in advance.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

member 'Dillen' has full recap kits with instructions so try to contact him by Private Messaging (PM).  He may have a kit for this Beomaster.

Dave.
