B&o wrote a special puc code for me but it requires a shift function on the beo remote 1 which I can't locate

Which button combination did you have to use on the BEO4 to do what you want?  There is a document to tell you the equivlent on the Beoremote one which may help.

Don't you just need to be in the TV mode and use 'List' and then find the 'Shift' submenu and change the 'show/hide' feature?

Dave.

Yes, I know, but can't you find the 'shift' function as I described on the BeoRemote1?  The user manual for the remote describes the 'show/hide' function for any source i.e. TV, music etc  on page 9.

If you answered the other questions you've been asked, someone may be able to help you.

Are you trying to control a 'BEO4' product? i.e. not the New Avant. - page 16 of ther user manual for the BeoRemote1.  If you are and you select a 'BEO4' product, the appropriate list will be on the BeoRemote1.  That should include 'Shift'.

Can you not just contact the B&O dealer who set this up for you?

Dave.
