The 6-22" ceased production in 2006 so wouldn't have been HD ready.
Mine is in daily use and has never suffered a problem. Picture and sound are great for a small TV. We also use it with a CDX CD player via the 'Camcorder' inputs.

olvisab:Unless you use it like this, its picture quality is bad even for a small tv.
I have to take issue with that. Compared to more modern HD TV's I would agree but as a stand alone small TV (ours is used in a bedroom for a teenager) the picture quality is excellent. It obviously depends on the source and quality of signal but we have always been really impressed with our 6-22. I'm not sure how you can call the picture 'bad'?

Don't worry Bramble!!!
I bought a BV6-22 for my apartment lounge at the time in the Winter of 2005!
I thought it was a beautiful, very elegant piece of design.
Here is my true opinion of it!
Sound quality. For a TV - WOW! With the bass and treble cranked - very very nice. FAR BETTER than the BeoSound Century hifi that was next to it. The BV6 is very well built and the complete casing coped well with bass etc unless the Century which rattled and vibrated.
Picture - Well it's an early Samsung LCD. I used TWO sources at the time. A B&O DVD1 player and Grundid Sky Digital box connected with QED Squart scary leads. Close up, the picture is really grainy BUT sit a metre or further away and you don't notice that. Remember LCD really does need HD unlike say CRT to look excellent.
All in all, a real beauty of a TV. For me, it was the perfect size. It complemented the room which was based around conversation, art etc not a dominating TV. I can't stand big screen TVs - I find them uneducated and very low class.
bramble:Thanks all for your various comments and ideas, I will keep posted as to the bv6 being a permanent bedroom fixture or keep the bv1 I can always use the bv6 for the kitchen. Kind rgds
From what you first said 'you had it', now it seems you haven't received it yet. Is that right?
I still think you'll be pleased with it. Are you paying much for it?
You can get a bigger one with HD such as this one from our title sponsor:

Ours is on a wall bracket which keeps it out of the way of teenage fingers! I assume you'll get a remote with it?
Bramble, you have a bargain there!!! I paid £3000 for mine when new!
I'm sure that you'll love it! Beautifully designed little TV. Everyone who entered my apartment at the time loved it!
bramble:No, awaiting on its arrival.....and under£100 Like you say I will find a use for it, I will post pictures when I get it and set it up. Great deal and not a penny wasted. I hope you enjoy it as much as we all do ours. Dave. Rgds
