I am considering replacing my BV8 40 with the new Beoplay V1 40 but i have a few questions that I can't seem to find the answers on from the official sources:
1) What is the depth og the stand for placing it on a cabinet or a table. I don't wan't it to get to close to the edge so this is essential.
2) I have a surround setup today with powerlink cabling. Are there adapters available to go from the RJ45 connectors on the TV to powerlink or do i have to buy new cables?
3) Today I have af Cona subwoofer powered by af MCL2P connected to the BV8 and this is working fine. This is connected with an MK2 powerlink cable (see this thread http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/1129/9481.aspx#9481 ). The question is will the Beoplay V1 with the new RJ45 powerlink connections (wich I guess is not MK2) be able to power up the MCL2P?
4) I have a Wii connected to the BV8 for now. The Beoplay V1 has an analogue input. In the datasheet http://www.beoplay.com/layouts/SBV-Custom/HMProductPage/BeoplayV1TechSpecs.html this is described as a mini AV input. Does anyone know if this is a special connector or if there is an adapter included with the TV?
Thanks in advance
Hi again!
madskp: 2) I have a surround setup today with powerlink cabling. Are there adapters available to go from the RJ45 connectors on the TV to powerlink or do i have to buy new cables?
Not sure what sort of adapters they offer. But, in any case, if you have hidden your cables or something you could always just buy short RJ45-DIN cables and then use a DIN female-female adapter (third from the top HERE). But I'm sure Steve (from SoundsHeavenly) can make adapters if you wish.

A RJ-45 connector has 8 pins, so I see no reason why it shouldn't work with the MCL2P. I'm willing to bet it will work like a charm!

It doesn't look like a standard connector to me, so you'll have to buy a B&O adaptor (to SCART, I guess).
1) 25cm
2) I had my cables replaced but I understand that adapters will become available shortly as well
3) not an adapter
