Dear Forum,
tomorrow I am going to pick-up a Beovision 7-32 MK III.
It will be dismounted from its motorised stand to transport it.
How to put it in the car?Just lots of blankets etc. in the trunk and the TV flat on ist back on top of these?Or do I need to transport it upright (like Plasma TVs)?
Thanks for any Input!
Best regardsRalf

Laying it flat on its back is no problem (unlike a Plasma set). Manufacturers ship them out flat in their boxes. Plenty of padding underneath and at the sides to stop it moving about in the back and banging the glass. Use a duvet or pillows. Keep the stand well away from the screen to prevent scratches or worse!.
God luck. They are heavy and strong TV's the 7 series.
Dave.
Worked very well: put the TV on its nose / the glass panel, lots of cushions etc underneath.
Nice TV, btw.
But I suppose I will get rid of the motorised stand and the Beolab 7-4 and look for some 7-1 with table-stand.I want to put it on top of the F1000 furniture.@Dave: thanks for confirming!

Looks like a mini version of my 7_55. Very nice and glad it worked out OK. The stand and speaker are worth a bit if you sell them Or, maybe you could trade them with Lee at Lifestyle AV - do a swap?
