Hello everybody
I would like to link a beosound 4 and a beocenter 2 (2 different rooms) in order to :
- use the A.MEM (sd card) function in the room where the beoenter 2 is located
- use the dvd function where the beosound 4 is located.
Is it possible from a beo4 ? Do I need a masterlink hub or can I plug the cable directly in the 2 units ?
Thanks in advance for your help
Best regards
oLivier

You cannot do what you want as one unit has to be the master and the other, a slave. This means you could , for instance, listen to the DVD on the BS4 if the BC2 was the master, but you could not use the SD card on the BC2. You will need to set the options but this aside, no problems.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your fast answer, as usual :)
If I have quite understood, I can use the A.MEM function if the beocenter 2 is the master and the beosound 4 is the slave.
How can I set this option ? Is it explained on beotech ?
If this is done, I just have to press A.MEM (or A.tape) on the beo4 in front of the beocenter 2 ?
What kind of information will appear on the display of the beocenter 2 (title of tracks for example) ?
