I have a MK 3 version of the BeoSound 9000, which works perfectly. It is wired to a set of beolab 8000 speakers. The Beosound 9000 has recently developed a problem whereby it won't switch off with either the beo 4 remote or by using the control panel on the unit. When attempting to switch off, it goes off for a moment or 2, then clicks back on again. The problem seems to be worse when it has been used for an hour or more. If only used for a short period it will switch off.

Currently I switch it off at the mains when this happens, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and if there is a fix, or is the whole thing about to fail!😥

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,

Stephen

Hi, unfortunately I didn’t resolve this problem, but the unit works fine if powered on and off at the mains! Not ideal....

Good luck with it.🤔

Kind regards

Must be something in the air. Our brand new Beovision Eclipse started doing something similar at the weekend!

Reminds me - i have a phone call to make....
