Hi everyone,

I would like to know if the BEOVISION AVANT 55 is compatible with SRT subtitles files for viewing videos via the HOME MEDIA feature (through DLNA or with a USB drive) ?

I watch a lot of movies & TV shows and I need to have the subtitles on the TV (I'm french!)

Thnaks

Fred

Hi the TV support embedded srt subtitles I.e. not a separate srt file.

Some times it is necessary to step forward and backward to get the subs working (I hope that bug will be fixed).

I've tried to burn subtitles using Handbreak, and outputting a MKV file, but still cannot see the subtitle. Should I save in another format?

1 start play back

2 Menu + 5 (select the subs)

3 step forward and then back so you won't miss anything (1 minutes steps) then the subs should show up.

Yes that way works. Annoying that B&O hasn't fixed that yet in SW. Hoping they will do that soon and also add true .srt support.
