Has anyone use a successful method of connecting a new iPhone / iPad with lightening to the old connector of a beosound 8?

The 30 pin to lightening adapter works very well. I found that the original apple 30 pin to lightning cable a waste of $45. It didn't work. The $5 from Thailand i got was way superior.

The beosound 8 doesn't come with new conductor. The a8 does

That's right.  But you can buy an apple lightning to 30 pin adaptor for £25 from the apple store.

It works perfectly for me with the iphone.  Because the ipad is bigger and sits higher on the BS8 than usual it can feel a little precarious but it works fine.
