i suppose that the question have been still asked but i don't find it on the forum...so please let me know how to connect a pair of Beolab 2500 model 6201 with a preamp which have rca output ; i have try several combination with a link 5 pin din/rca but without any result , the led stay red and and there is no sound even not a hum or strange noise.

You need a 5V Power_On Signal on pin 1 or it will not switch on.

i have seen on the web a connection diagram with a 5v supply but i didn't think that i was concerned too.so i'll try it thanks for the answer

if the pre-amp has a trigger output you can use this cable:
