Hello, i'm quite pleased with a Bo 1400 (a 901 with a cassette deck) but I would like to get a better sound from vinyls. Any advice for a reasonably priced phonostage box? I'm using a retipped MMC 20 En...

To me the 901 is sounding good with my BG 1202, if you want something else, depending on your BG, the BM 2400 is a very good amp, I use that one with BG 2404, and then it all depend on which speakers you use

Hello thanks for your reply!

In fact Iike the sound of this modest amplifier once you find the best treble/bass position to correct the built-in loudness. It's very dynamic on transients and fairly clean. As it was a fairly basic model I'm just wondering if the phonostage is as good as pricer models.

With the 6000 quad it's the Bo sound I like, relaxed but dynamic. I've tried many Bo speakers,  and now it sounds very well with DCM 350 timeframe speakers (shame on me)
