I bought a pair of Beovox M70 on Ebay US, last sunday, today the seller wrote me this

My packagers had our technicians check these one more time prior to shipping. During testing one of the tweeters stopped working, my technician thought it was the crossover, but looking into it further, the tweeter had opened. The tweeter is no longer any good. I have been looking on ebay for this tweeter, but it seems to be quite difficult to find. If you are no longer wanting these I can provide a full refund of your entire purchase price. Let me know what you would like me to do. We did run these for another hour, only the one tweeter went out, no other problems.

I told him that I could find a tweeter, and wanted the speakers, but asked for a partly refund, 15 minutes later I had a refund on my PP account. Good honest seller http://www.ebay.com/usr/adicksonb?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2754

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

After all the horror stories it's nice to hear about a good, reputable and honest seller. Smile

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Hey Soren,

what a shame - you've got a bit more refurbishing to do!  Really nice seller by the sound of it.  I wish there were more like them.

Enjoy your M70's and stands (Grrrrrr).  They are on my shopping list.

Dave.
