My beogram 4000 was running through a beomaster 4400 but im going to set it up to a valve phono stage which will then connect to a pre amp/valve power amp.

this system is going to pick up cable quality so rather than use a din/phono adapter I'm considering hard wiring a phono lead into the 4000.

Anyone have experience of this and what worked well? I gather a low capacitance lead should suit the CL cartridge best.

Thanks.

Welcome!

Honestly, an adapter from Steve will work fine. I did try a valve phonostage with my Beogram 4000! Smile

Don't expect too much from exotic cabling.
