Tweeter from S80 in S55?

The tweeter in one of my lovely S55s seems to have died. It's distorting at certain frequencies. 

I have no idea how it's happened, I've run them carefully and nowhere near any limit for only 4 months since I got them, recapped and refoamed.

Regardless, in an effort to get a new one I have found a set of S80.2 nearby. I am planning to get them. Can I use the tweeter from an S80 in the S55?

Would I get more pleasure in general from recapping and refoaming the S80s and then retiring the S55 until I can find a replacement tweeter?

The Beovox S55 and Beovox S80 (80.2) tweeters are far from identical.

Ok. Well, I'm picking up the S80.2s today and will probably start by refoaming them. I'll just have to wait for some S55s to become available at a good price so I can get my replacement tweeter.

That's an extra pair of speakers around the house....oh dear ;)
