After getting my 6000 quad set a couple of weeks ago it's sat in a spare room whilst I try to work out what to do with it. I did take an enormous risk and opened up the Beomaster and restrung the dial as someone had got in there first and the tuning was back to front as well as not going to the ends of the scale. This was actually the easiest restring I've done which surprised me. Then I put it back together and it's just sat there. The problem now is how sneakily attach 4 P50's to the walls. So I've motivated myself by getting this.

The Beograms got an MMC4000 so hopefully it will make for a nice quad evening when I've hooked up the speakers.

Lovely Beaker.  First time I've really seen the white version.

I hope it sounds as good as it looks.  Good album to start with.

Dave.

Superb, I love my 6000 4channel. It really is a statement piece than no B&O collector should be without!

I hope you'll post your impressions of the Dark Side Of The Moon in quad after you get a chance to listen to it! I've always been curious as to how it sounded in quad. Back in the day I never had a quad setup, my buddy did but didn't like Pink Floyd so I never got to hear it, and I was too broke to buy a copy of the LP just to listen to it on his system.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

I certainly will say how it sounds. I doubt I will be able to set up the 4 speakers in the perfect positions. I might just have to stand the rears up on something as I don't have a room that I can set up 4 P50's permanently.
