I recently bought a table stand for my BC2 (many thanks to LifeStyle AV) and so disconnected the unit whilst I fiddled with the screws, etc.

Now when I re-connect the unit the indicator light becomes illuminated so power is OK.  But I can't get anything to work, either manually or using the remote control.  If I touch any of the "buttons" on the unit itself (e.g. RADIO) the indicator light goes off for about 10 seconds before coming back on.

The main display on the unit remains blank and therefore I do not believe it is an issue with a pincode.  Accordingly, any advice on how I could re-boot my BC2 would be gratefully received.

Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike,

issues like this can mostly be resolved by disconnectiong from the mains and then reconnecting again.  If that doesn't work, try all other connections to make sure they are secure.  If no joy, we'll think of something else!

The lead between the head unit and black box may not be plugged in 100%. Check you have the plug  profile matching the socket, particularly if both are in hard to access places.

Thanks guys - indeed I pulled out every plug I could find and then put them all back in.  And now it works.  A miracle.  Many thanks - I now have my music back.

Cheers, Mike

No miracle really. It's one of the most common problems with any multiconnector be it a SCART lead or the type of connectors on these machines.  Always worth a try first off.

Glad it's all up and running again.

Dave.
