Hi,

since more than 10 years i own a Beocenter 2500 with Beolab 8000. A nice system connected via Masterlink to a BeoVision 3-32 and two BeoLab 2000.

Now i was hit again by the Beo Virus and bought a near mint Beosound 9000 MK 1 which can replace the BeoCenter 2500 with the Stand 2051 by just connecting Masterlink. But there's one problem: I don't want to get rid of the BC 2500 but would like to get it connected to the main system.

The BS 9000 is at software level 2.4a (NetMusic capable) but doesn't allow me to set it to a Link Option (4,5, or 6) all i can choose is 0 or 1

The BC 2500 only reacts to 0,1,2 and 3 ??? What is option 3 for?  Confused

As far as i know the BS9000 MK1 is at it's maximum software level or is the version 3.4x also available for the MK 1?

Are there any other possibilitie to get the BC2500 integrated somehow into the game?

Thanks in advance !

Hi Ralph,

can you not just run both through a ML junction box from the TV?

Hi Dave,

i tried this with a masterlink 6 plug box but got the result i expected: BS9000 and BC2500 reacted on RADIO or CD simultaneously. That's why i experimented with the option settings which gave me the working but to me unknown option  3  for the BC2500 and the missing option 4,5 or 6 for the BS 9000. The Beocenter 2500 was connected with an AUX-Link cable to a Beolink Converter 1611 to the masterlink.

Hi,

concerning the problem mentioned in the first post i have one more question. What is the newest softare level for a BeoSound 9000 MK 1 ?

Right now my BS9000 is on level 2.4a which makes it NetMusic / NetRadio compatible but doesn't allow only A-Opt 0, 1 and 2

Thanks in Advance
