Becom 6000 unable to reset or use menu

Hi,

I have a mk1 6000 which I cannot access the menu and it does not respond to the reset 70009 procedure.

I also have a mk2 which powers on then shows power off straight away?

Both have new batteries and were picked up as part of a "working setup".

Any ideas if they are dead or recoverable?

Hi Barry,

at least for the BeoCom 6000 MK 1 you need a new front cover with keyboard. It shouldn't be to expensive. I once bought one from a B&O dealer for 15 or 16 Euro.

The MK2 BC6000 i don't know but could be the same.
