Hi!
I'm obviously a new member, but I'm a long time lurker and I have a question for the B&O gurus out there.
I have a BeoSound 9000 system with a pair of BeoSound Penta MK3 speakers that will soon be for sale locally, but I have absolutely no idea what to ask for them or even where to start price negotiations. Prices on eBay are all over the place, and since I don't want to ship for fear of damage, I'd like to sell somewhat close to home in northern Colorado.
The BS9000 has the Beo4 remote, RCA input adapter and the floor stand as well as the wall mounting plate. It works perfectly.
The Penta speakers are in excellent condition, with perfect speaker surrounds and grill fabric. They sound glorious.
The system sounds amazing, but it simply isn't getting much use, and I'd really like hardware like this to go to someone who can appreciate it. It was left to me by a dear friend who passed, and although I had ideas of keeping it forever, it's just not reasonable at the moment.
Any ideas how to value the system and where to start? Anyone bought / sold similar gear recently? ANY help would be hugely appreciated.
