Hi beoworlders

Just looking for your advice on where to and particularly how to have my stuff being the Blu Ray player and my Foxtel (SKY to you UKers) box.

I had a guy come and look at it for an install and I have power and internet available behind the TV, but what to do with my stuff.???

He suggested I have something off to the side, but how do other forum people / have forum people done with theirs.

I am planning an Avant 55 with no extra speakers at the front and 2 BL3s at the rear with wireless receivers.

I love my Sony TV very much, especially the streaming services and PQ

The B&O solution I am thinking will hopefully give me better PQ, Sound and ability to have a wireless BL3s as rears as at the moment they are unused in my front lounge room.  This is my second lounge which I use more often.

I have had a look at STB.

Michael, is that the Sony TV with the metal feet under the screen? It's so beautiful! Do you mind telling me which type it is?

Regarding your stuff: Just get a beautiful open or closed rack for all your stuff which fits the room size- and designwise. That's how I put my non-B&O stuff in the living room. There are enough beautiful solutions.

Perhaps you might buy an infrared extension for the rack which allows infrared control when all doors are closed.

I suppose your actual sony is a 52" screen (my sister as the same).

I would go for a floor stand in your corner, a rack will be huge and you won't be abble to turn tv when seated on the high chairs.

You have two devices (wii (?) and stb tv (?) or bluray) buy two stb brackets.

And like I say to my kids : the slippers on your feets !

The Sony TV is the beautiful 55” HX820, and i have the same TV, but the first in the monolithic design in the 55 NX 810 in my front room.  They both have the integrated 2.1 sound stand.  It has great sound.  I do love it.

But i have 2 BL3s that are unused and the B&O solution will help with this, but i’m still worried it’s not the right move for me. It is a big step - you know money doesn’t grow on trees.  I’m not sure what open or closed options there are hence my posting :-)

The basket shows that i’m just a normal person with normal laundry duties! So Shantay, it stays! lol

The high chairs i never really turn around nor use.  I occasionally sit there, but more in the sofa behind

On the current stand I have a Foxtel Box so that is a STB which is the same size as the Sky HD box.  Foxtel will soon release IQ3 and that will be half the size, and also a blu ray player.  As my current blu ray player is a tray loader, it may not work well with the STB Brackets solution, so i will have to see if there are any slot loading blu ray players available in Australia - probably not.

So I was thinking that I should use my Foxtel out here and my PS4 - as that has a slot loader.  That should be sort of reasonable.  The only thing is what happens with the aluminium back with the STB solution.

I do have a budget as it really is only a TV, but i do agree the floor stand is what i’m after in that corner which will allow this BeoGourmet to cook dinner and watch my stuff at the same time, and drink martinis.
