I cannot seem to rename handset from previous name. When re registering it says name handset ok and will not allow me to delete the old name. Any ideas please

If you use the 'black dot' button, followed by 'Menu' and then press '7', you should get the rename handset menu. Use the 'C' cancel button to delete previous entries and rename using the scroll functions and save with the diamond save symbol in the alphabet list.
