Hi guys new member here in north east England,

need some advice,  took my beomaster 2402 to local b&o dealer for repair and told it needs 2 new control chips but they can't source them, does anyone know if these are still available anywhere,

Welcome to Beoworld !

Those ICs rarely fail.
What are the symptoms ?

Hi Martin

Thanks for quick reply,

Symptoms are,

unit will not switch to different programs ,

programs 3&4 light up when switched on

will not switch off using either remote or touch control,

also when trying to change function using remote sound changes volume up.(weird!)

If not these ICs then what?

Know nothing about electronics but engineer who has tried to repair it has replaced supply transistor(If I remember correctly) but now thinks it could be 2 control chips SAS570S,(have since found these available on vintageplanet in Holland)

Ask the engineer to check the indicator lamps for correct wattage.
Check IC9 and replace the on-board rectifier.
