I have a BeoSound 5 Encore which is being fed from a QNAP TS-259 NAS server. The problem is that many of my CD's which I have uploaded to the NAS server (I can see them lying there) do not appear on the Encore screen and I can therefor not play them on my B&O system. Very frustrating. Is there anybody out there that can help me.

Hi Pedro,
are you sure they are in a folder that the DLNA server (on the Qnap) has access to?
Otherweise they/the tags won't be indexed at all.

MM,
Thank you for your response. IT is one of my weak attributes and I will appreciate it if you can guide me through your check list. I am living in Windhoek Namibia and our local B&O support system seems to have vanished.
Olvisab,
Thank you for your response but I would appreciate some more guidance as to where to search and what to do being somewhat IT illiterate.
@olvisab - thanks for the 🌹🌹 - I'll do my best!
when you try to play the unrecognized files on your pc, have do they behave?
Do you have the coverpics showing then in the player?
By the way, are you using a Windows pc, or a Mac?
In which fileformat is your music - did you rip the music yourself....?
Could you post a screenshot/picture of the drive/folder (located on the Qnap), where you see the unrecognized files on the pc/mac.
If you don't know howto - please let me/us know!
