Beocom 5 tone/pulse option.

Hello, i am wondering whether there is an option to select between tone and pulse dialing on the Beocom 5. At the moment it seems that if i open the line and then dial, it uses tone. If i find a number on the call list or in the phone-book, it uses pulse.

The beocom is connected to a beoline PSTN.  I just want to get rid of the pulse dialing altogether.

Finally found the solution.

 

Mode 3
In mode 3 both predial and postdial are set to
Tone (DTMF).
> Press **781*3#
> Press call and await a dial tone.
> Press call to store the setting.

Pontios, you are an absolute legend.  I was having an identical issue with my Beocom 2.  Have just tried this, and its now using DTMF for phonebook numbers.  I am beyond happy.
