Up until now, I have limited the use of my Beosytem 6500 to Records, CDs and the occasional casssette.  Having now decided to part with some of my other systems, I want to use the 6500 for radio as well.

I have an 8 element external FM aerial that gives brilliant reception on my other B&O FM tuner/amplifiers where the aerial connections are relatively straightforward to access, but with the 6500, there's a real problem. How do you get an FM-coaxial plug and its cable into the ridiculously small gap at the bottom corner of the rear of the tuner/amp where the socket is?

Has anyone else had such a problem and how did you overcome it?

Snap the cable and install a 90° angled plug. Not all of them fit, either, but sometimes leaving the plastic cover off is enough.

EDIT: as seen here

Thanks Mika, particularly as I should have found this myself. I searched the site before posting the question - I can't believe I missed it. Many thanks for such a quick response.
