greetings all once again,

X'Mas is coming but seemingly not for my Beogram 4002 :-(

after sorting out a anti-clockwise spinning platter, which was caused by a faulty transistor - 1TR10 to be precise I am now back to my original problem plus one :

1. fluctuating speed at 33 and 45 rpm

2. two blown fuses at 2 occasions

to 1.

the fine speed adjustment wheel seem to work at both speed settings ?

the speed trimmers on the main board have been turned in both directions and they change the speed

as they should !

the AC motor has been changed over from another unit and makes no difference

to 2.

both fuses blew, were replaced with 150mA ones instead of the original 125mA ones

and blew again after a while - how can this problem be speed-connected ??

will be very grateful for any good advice - that table is far too nice to recycle !!

cheers, alf
