The volume control (one handset) on a system with one base/ 3 handsets (MK1 ~ 1999 USA) remains very faint ~ both the dial tone and the voice level on the line are very low (only on that one handset) . It does not increase by turning the wheel. The two other handsets on the system work just fine.
The back story: This system has not been in use since 2009 when it worked perfectly. With 3 new batteries, and with a great deal of help from this forum (past answers) I was able to set everything up, register all 3 handsets to the base. The 3rd handset which has the volume level problem on the handset is able to control volume on my 9000 audio.
Do you think my issue is something in the handset itself that actually needs repair or replacing rather than setup?I have not fond this issue anywhere in the forum or online.
I looked everywhere to find answers to this "volume issue on one handset" before staring a new thread. Appreciate any help with this.
