Sorry Mika, I meant to thank you for replying about the IL1 lamp on the main board but left it out of the previous message. Thanks!

From your answers it really appears like the problem is with some part of the latching circuit.

I haven't started my thread yet but last night I did finish going through all of the electrical adjustments on my Beogram. I got the speed indicator lights all working now.  The only things left are to put the control panel back together and maybe replace the phono cable.

I got my 5503 playing vinyl again today and finally started my Beoworld thread for it here.
