Look at what you get for £1400 if you want a motorised hinge for a non- B&O TV.
Video here.
Makes me feel that my motorised BV11 hinge was a really elegant bargain!

MartinW:I had one of those for my old 10-46. It stuck out loads from the wall, was very very noisy, and would never go back parallel with the wall - you had to push it the last inch manually! It did do the job, but yes - not even comparable to a B&O bracket which is just perfection - and nearly twice the price of B&O too. It wasn't any quicker but travelled in a different way - like an Avant bracket, not a BV11.

I think that the Avant type centre hinge and the BV11 type edge hinge (not to mention the floor and table stands) are really difficult to beat when it comes to elegant appearance and operation.
You could get a large Smart TV for under £600 and add one of these £1400 brackets. So for around £2000 you can have a clunky two remote system with poor sound quality. Or for around double that get a beautifully finished fully integrated smooth operating B&O TV with outstanding sound and picture.
The B&O offerings look better and better value all the time.
