Beomaster 2000 switches "off" at irregular intervals

Beomaster 2000 is not stable.  Without a clear cause it switches off.  It may play for an hour or less, then switches off. Sometimes it's only  matter of minutes.

I already took the device apart, (which is rather complicated), in order to check power supply.  That seems OK: 42 VDC +/-, and 27 VDC (relais coil tension)

I wonder if this defect could be a failing STK amp module, or whether the sensor switches and the surroudings electronics are the culprit.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
