Hello to all in Beoworld,

I was lucky enough to pick a pretty nice  8002 turntable the other day and began setting it straight right  away. The aluminum door was easy enough after my 3m tape supplier hooked me up with the right tape but then came the plastic cover. Many of you are probably already well aware of were I am going with this.

The plastic cover when lowered would hit the right edge and when fully down on the right it was up 4 to 5mm on the left. I proceeded to look around for what might cause this and checked the web for help but couldn't find an answer. After tearing the hinge, spring and everything associated with it apart and then putting it back together I was no closer to the answer until I gently pushed the back of the hinge, right of center forward. The cover aligned on the right and the left side went down. The tables frame appeared to be in tact so I flipped the table over to remove the screws that hold the cover on and there was the problem.

After all the work of tearing apart the hinge assembly and everything else the only problem was a missing foot on the bottom of the table.

Now the question can anyone help me locate a foot or better yet 3 feet? The manual shows the part as 3103067. It appears to require one on each corner and two in the middle but I only have one on three corners. The manual says they are rubber feet but the remaining feet seem the be a hard plastic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Troy

Can't you just use some small rubber feet like this? They come in different thickness and diameters.

I could use those and probably will if I cannot find originals.

My problem is that I am quite anal and it would drive me nuts.

I took a hot glue gun and fashioned a replacement and it is working quite well.
