I recently bought a beomaster 5000 with the MCP 5000, and the seller gave me a set of cables and a strange box for free... I really dont know what is. I tried looking through the product list in here, but diddn't get any smarter.

If anyone could tell me what this is, what its good for and how to connect it that would be great! =) Looks like its in good shape too..

What goes where, and what does it do?

HI, this is a MCL box, which allows you to send the sound from your BeoMaster to another room & control the system with another remote there. It should be an "extra speaker kit", looking at the cables that come with it, so you can connect BeoVox speakers to that kit.Smile

Thank you very much for a quick response!

The sensor for the extra remote on the other hand only has loose cables in the other end (no plug :S), do you think thats fixable ? Or is it maybe possible to connect the loose ends with the other cable (plugged into transreciever) to make the sensor work? if so any suggestion wich cables & colours  are supposed to be connected to eachother? :P

Or do you maybe think i need some kind of plug that goes into the IR Out  input?

Ohh, btw. Will my MCP 5000 or my Terminal 3300 work on this remote sensor? or do i have to buy another one?

sorry for bothering you with all these questions, im just so excited to see if i can fix it and make it work =)

Heres some more pictures that maybe will make it easier for you to figure it out

Turns out this is actualy an IR code device for the beomaster 5000 for making the beolink 1000 work with it!

But thank you anyways !

Only sad part is that the cables inside the sensor has fallen out and i have noe idea what order to connect them back on =/
