I was wondering if there is a simple way to connect to two external sources via the single auxiliary input on my BS3000. As an example a Beogram 6500 and Beocord 6500 hooked up to it. Of course not listening at the same time. just prefer to have them always connected instead of swapping cables.

Thanks

You'll need an AUX splitter like this:

If you need an Aux splitter or the Aux expander, I have a few for sale.

It turns out I have the Y-cable which i was using to daisy chain my BL8000. I think the Aux expander is more of what i need since both external sources will always be connected and need to be switched. Does the Aux expander allow switching.

@ Leslie If you have one for sale PM me.

Thanks

Not sure but I don't think the Aux Y splitter can be used for BL8000 loudspeakers since this is Powerlink. Will send you a PM or you may send me one.

You'll need the cable from Steve - I am quite sure the other won't work.

My advice: buy the expander from Leslie.

That one has datalink-through.

To switch - just push the button needed. Up to 4 devices can be mounted.

I have had one of these on the A.Tape input of my BM4500 for years myself.

You may be right. Perhaps they look similar at first glance. I bought a power link Y cable that looks similar to the one in the link Steve recommended. I am assuming this one is a datalink version.  In either case It requires a switch kit if both devices will be plugged to the mains, so I prefer to go with the expander.

Leslie could you PM me about the one you have for sale.

Thanks

Ok! I don't know why i did not think of this earlier. Since I have a NL/ML converter in the mix going to my BS3000 and BV 11 55, I can connect one source to the aux of the Bs3000 and another the RCA input (Line In) of the NL/ML Converter. Just tested it and works fine. I still love the idea of the Aux expander should I decide to hook up more than two external sources.

Thanks

Imagine the OneRemote switch on your BS3000 and the B&O expander on the NL/ML Converter!

Must be like Christmas 🎁
