I have just purchased a Technisat HDFV Freeview HD Digital Receiver to attach to my MX7000 TV.

I have connected it via a scary plug to the AUX 2 input on the TV.

The receiver is supposed to launch automatically and open an install dialog box on screen - but nothing happens when I plug in.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong ?

Regards

Peter

Hi and welcome to Beoworld !

You mean that you don't get any picture of your Technisat on TV ?

You connected your Technisat to AV2, so you have to configure your MX7000 to use AV2 for V.TAPE. This is done via MENU. If it's configured right, then you can press V.TAPE or V.MEM on your remote to power on your MX and switch to AV2.

Hope this helps.
