Hello Everyone,

I'm Adam, looking forward to being a part of the forum

I used to have a beosystem 2500 years and years ago, which I ended up swapping with a friend for his Omega speedmaster 'moon watch', a lovely piece that I still wear to this day.

Call me nostalgic but i've found myself recently craving a beosystem 2500 again, I've spent the last number of years listening to music via iPod docks etc, and would love to have one of these retro systems for all my CD's, where would be the best place to find a nice condition beosystem2500+beolab2500 speakers? ebay?

I've not checked for a while but I've not seen any that jump out to me as being nice, looked after examples, how much should I expect to pay?

Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone here,

thanks,

Adam.

Hi Atom,

Welcome!

Have a talk to Lee at Lifestyle-av as he tends to sell some very nice examples every now and then.

These two on ebay look pretty special too...

Enjoy,

If the first ad on ebay is a fixed price you should go for that. A real bargain especially if the wallbracket and plate is included! Probably the cassette needs a new belt if not already done.

Hi,

How I understand you! I own one and still love it.

If I were you, I'd go for a Beosound 3000 or Beosound 3200, which are Masterlink and N.Music compatible, so it'll be easier to integrate with more recent B&O devices.

Also, you won't have a cassette deck, which doesn't look so nice.
