Pretty unusual speakers here and not all that common anymore.

I have some type L (607) speakers hooked up to a 610 Amplifier.

I would keep an eye on eBay etc, they do come up occasionally,

Hi Ben.

Yes, they are pretty unusal.

I don't think that they are common anywhere.

II managed to find the B & E
I even have the E, 2pcs. in original packing.
Thanks for looking

Here are some other strange B&O speakers.
The are called Basrefleks, around 1959/60 and an odd midrange speaker.

Fascinating! It is great to see interesting things like that, thanks for sharing!

If you have any pictures of your Type E's that would be great to see! Especially in their original packaging

Hi,

Nice to see a vintage thread again here.

I think you are lucky guy to own 2 of those "Rondstraler" tweeter speaker, they very rare indeed.

They are on my wanted list since long time but out of Denmark they are almost impossible to get.

Few information about them can be found here.

I have few pictures of them They are from ebay auction...

And you said you managed to get the Type B (ST 606) from the 60's catalogue. They are also very rare to see. Would you post here few pics for us, please?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Theomaster

Wow, Theomaster,

To see it in it's original box like that is pretty amazing. If you think they're rare in Europe they are even harder to find in the UK!

Thanks for the info and pictures,

Hi Ben and everyone following this.

Here is a foto of my E speaker as well as an very old B&O Hi-Fi Mono amplifier.

I have also made copies of some data.

There is also a pdf file of almost every old B&O product.

I have data and Pictures of most of them.

That really was an excellent find. Do you collect the vintage kit then? How many items do you own?

By the looks of it, i may have the C type (S607) in a not too great condition.

i see a similar pair for sale here in NL, but the original type plate says : type SD, my guess is that later they were given that name...

Hi.

I have found two pair here in Denmark.

One pair in Rosewood and one in Teak.

Kind regards

Could i ask what you more or less paid for them ?

To know if it makes sense keeping mine (to refurbish or sell).
