I've got six Beolink passives in use and have never had any issues with any of them.

Two of these are the more recent "made in Czech Republic" versions and internally they are identical to the older "made in Denmark" units, but part of the casing has changed from metal to plastic - the bulk of the casing is still metal though as it functions as a heatsink for the amplifier, and they remain surprisingly heavy for their size.

Interestingly, the Czech versions don't state software version, either on the product label, or internally on the chips themselves, although it's probably safe to assume the software will be current given they will have been manufactured more recently than any of the Danish versions.

Hope this helps...

Martin.

For this purpose a MCL2-P will do the job too. Maybe a bit cheaper but the same amplifier and rating as the Beolink Passive. Wink

Both boxes will be connected with a powerlink cable to the BS9000 and with DIN Plugs to your speakers.
