DVD audio in link rooms

Hello, I've been away for awhile and recently had to redo my setup.  I have an Avant in my main room with a Beosound 9000 as the audio master.  All speakers connected to the Avant.  My passive link rooms will play the cd audio and radio audio right now but I used to be able to hear DVD or satellite audio in these rooms.  I believe as long as it was active in the main room  (Pandora on DVD player for example), I could press the remote eye button and get this audio.  I've since lost the knowledge of how to configure this.  Can anyone help?
