Add a set top box not listed in PUC list Beovision 7-40?

Hi all!

I have a Beovision 7-40 Mk I and I would like to add a DVB-T box. I have two boxes, one Humax BXR HD-2 and a Sagem DT90 HD but neither of these are listed in the STB list in the TV.

Can I somehow do a cheap trick in order to operate the box with my Beo4 e.g. choosing another Humax/Sagem box in the list? Or is the only option to let a dealer add one of the boxes to the list? (Of course I could just purchase one of the boxes in the list but now that I have two already I am reluctant to do so...)

Hi,

We don't know what boxes included in your list...But you can try other humax for humax and other sagem for sagem if no you have to call serviceguy to update your tv puclist
