I have just bought this phone,and tried to fit 3AAA batteries in under the lid.
The batteries are much to small .is there a special compartment they need to be fitted into,if so i dont seem to have it !! Any ideas please

Here is a picture of my BeoCom 1600. 3xAAA batteries fit in nicely. Does your phone have the metal clips at each side?

Hi Frederik Could you please send me a picture what the compartment looks like without the batteries in ,thanks Nick i dont seem to have any clips at side
